In partnership with both The Architectural Review and the Architects’ Journal, the W Programme is a membership network that promotes gender equality, diversity and inclusivity in the built environment through a series of social events, mentoring sessions, inspiring lectures and a celebration of best practice.
The aim of the W Programme is to create better and healthier working environments for everyone in architecture and related industries, moving away from patriarchal power structures to foster a culture of respect and equal opportunities.
We want to inspire change as a united voice, offering opportunities for people of all genders working across the built environment to connect, share and learn. Find out more about how to become a W Partner here.
2024’s W Programme in numbers
Gender inequalities do not exist in isolation; they intersect and overlap with other causes of disadvantage and discrimination. Previously known as Women in Architecture, the W Programme promotes diversity, inclusion and care in practice through a yearly series of inspiring lectures, mentoring sessions, thought-provoking panel discussions, networking and social events designed for its members, the W Partners.
The W Programme membership period runs from January to December, with activities taking place both in the UK and online. View the full 2025 event schedule here and contact Frazer Stokes if you’re interested in working with us.
